Bio

David B. Harelick, CFA leads operations in the US for Lion&Lion, a global digital marketing agency with a focus on measurable ROI-based online marketing campaigns. Lion&Lion's core used to form the senior management team of some of the world’s most successful internet companies including Groupon as well as 35+ other leading internet companies in APAC, LATAM and Europe. The team behind Lion&Lion has an exceptional track record in navigating online channels including branding, social engagement and performance marketing.

In additon to leading Lion&Lion USA, David is a co-founder of USA Cupom, a website desigend to connect Brazilian tourists with American retailers.  David is also the founder and editor of the Free Travel Genius, a blog devoted to teaching people how to travel for free or cheap.  Through the The Acqumen Group, LLC and on his ownDavid has also consulted for various technology and real estate firms including Clark Realty Capital, LLC, Boston Capital, Automatos, Inc., Technisys, S.A., College Coach, LLC and pi Technologies. 

Prior to re-focusing his career into the digital marketing space, David was a Partner of Corporate Realty Investment Capital, LLC, a private equity fund investing in single-tenant net leased real estate.  David was responsible for business, product, and strategic development.

Prior to Corporate Realty, David was an associate in the Capital Markets Group of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and a financial analyst for Wasserstein Perella & Co. At Wasserstein, David was involved in a number of high profile transactions, including the mergers of Dean Witter with Morgan Stanley and Swiss Bank with Union Bank of Switzerland.

David received his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Relations from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management. David has been a director of MIT Sloan Boston since 2005 and its president since 2008.

David lives in Boston with his wife and daughter.  As a hobby, he writes a Travel Blog and is an avid skier and hiker.
