Bio

Mark Morrison is senior vice president and chief information security officer of State Street ‏providing strategic direction and leadership for the global corporate information security ‏program. He is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of a ‏comprehensive information security plan across the technology and business units to ‏ensure the cyber protection of State Street information assets.
 
‏Mr. Morrison has over thirty years of experience in information systems and network ‏security engineering, policy, risk management, and computer network defense. Prior to ‏joining State Street in June 2013, Mr. Morrison’s previous positions include the Deputy Chief ‏Information Security Officer for the U.S. Department of Defense; the U.S. Intelligence ‏Community Chief Information Security Officer; and the Chief Information Security Officer at ‏the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency.   ‏ 
 
‏Mr. Morrison has received the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Senior Professional; ‏the Director of National Intelligence Exceptional Service Medal; and the Director, Defense ‏Intelligence Agency Exceptional Civilian Award.   ‏ ‏
 
Mr. Morrison received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts at ‏Amherst.    ‏
