Bio

Paul Bakhit is the founder and Chairman of InnoviLabs and Chairman of Sovereign International. He brings a track record of nearly two decades in consulting and high technology. As founder of the company in 2007, Mr. Bakhit has responsibility for its overall direction, as well as its technological and business strategies. Prior to InnoviLabs, he founded three other ventures, launched two corporate divisions and held senior positions with growth and Fortune 500 companies such as IntelliCheck, Imaging Automation, GreenPages/Celadon, and Inacom Information Systems. Mr. Bakhit has been intimately involved in raising capital through various stages, as well as orchestrating corporate turnarounds and the sale of two companies. A thought leader in corporate strategy, identity technologies, particular as applied to Homeland Security, and, most recently, remote health technologies, Mr. Bakhit has addressed national audiences such as the Council of Security and Strategic Technology Organizations and the Oracle Homeland Security Conference and participates in MIT’s Enterprise Forum of Cambridge as a panelist. He has also appeared in the national media, including ABC, CNN, Fox, as well as numerous national publications. Mr. Bakhit is co-chair of the MIT CIO Symposium since 2008 and an organizing member of the MIT Enterprise Forum Software Advanced Group since 2007. He is also the founder of Health Angels and the Sovereign Institute, non-profit organizations with missions related to health, education and security. A President Scholar and PhD scholarship recipient at Temple University, Mr. Bakhit received a Bachelors degree in Finance and Economics, Summa Cum Laude, and was awarded the Financial Executive Institute’s top honor, the FEI Medallion.
