Richard Dorough is currently the Managing Director of U.S. Forensic Services at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC). PwC Forensic Services is dedicated to meeting the challenges caused by fraud allegations, financial crimes and other irregularities. As part of PwC’s Advisory group, Mr. Dorough’s group helps organizations improve business performance, respond quickly and effectively to crisis, and extract value from transactions. Before joining PwC, Mr. Dorough was Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Textron, Inc., where he was responsible for information technology programs, policies and processes. While at Textron, he managed the company’s IT privacy governance, software asset management, disaster recovery, and led the electronic discovery program. At Textron, Mr. Dorough was responsible for leading and enhancing Information Technology Controls, Security, eDiscovery and Privacy capabilities across the Textron portfolio. He directly administered global IT Security and controls and provided Vision and Strategic and Tactical direction for IT Security, eDiscovery, Disaster Recovery, Software Asset Management, and IT Controls. He served as a member of the Textron Information Management council (IMC) and as a leader of the Information Technology Risk Management (ITRM) council. He implemented multiple highly customized security applications.

Mr. Dorough is a recognized industry authority on issues relating to IT including IT Security, eDiscovery and Forensics. He frequently speaks at security-related industry events. He is a Design for Six Sigma Green Belt and has additional certifications in IT, IT Forensics, IT Data Privacy, eDiscovery, IT Audit, and IT Security.
