Bio

Sastry Pulya is a business results-driven, relationship-focused senior IBM technology executive. He has more than 17 years of experience enabling a diverse client base achieve quantifiable outcomes through implementation of innovative technology solutions. Sastry enjoys data-driven details in his work and has managed IT portfolios ranging from $250K at the low-end through $6.5M in the banking, insurance, and telecommunication industries. His leadership and management of complex projects and programs have earned him solid recognition from both clients and peers over the years. Prior to his current role at IBM, Sastry served as the Director of Business Technology at Fundtech where he managed professional services for the company’s payments product line. Earlier Sastry was Senior Advisory Architect with IBM Global Services, where he was responsible for solution design, new business development, and global delivery. At Level 3 Communications, prior to IBM, he led IT strategy for a high-value suite of internet protocol products. Sastry has an MBA from Babson College. In parallel with his day job, he is also currently pursuing a PhD in Business at the University Of Massachusetts.
