Bio

Dan Sheehan was named Chief Information Officer of Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. in March 2006. With over 24 years of management, leadership and information technology experience, Dan is responsible for the brand’s retail technology strategy and execution, the company's enterprise information systems, technical operations and telecommunications.

Dan serves as functional support leader and liaison to both his business partners and the Brand's Franchisees. Under his leadership, the IT organization in partnership with the business and franchisees are focused to standardize our brand's Point-of-Sale (POS), backoffice (inventory, labor and cash management), secured broadband services, business intelligence and supply chain integration.

Prior to joining Dunkin’ Brands, Dan served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for ADVO Inc., a $1.4 billion dollar leading full-service direct mail marketing services company. In these roles, he was responsible for Information Systems, Targeting Demographic and Lifestyle Modeling Solutions, Technical Operations, and the Business Process Center. Previously, Dan served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for ACSYS Inc. and held senior IT management positions at The Coca-Cola Company, Georgia-Pacific and Morton International. Dan currently serves as a board member of the Modell's Sporting Goods Company.

Dan earned his Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems from Suffolk University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Salem State College.
