Bio

Zoya Kinstler specializes in information technology solutions for strategic and complex business projects. As an enterprise architect at Verizon, she designs advanced information technology capabilities for strategic business-to-business systems. Zoya brings with her a 20-year experience of large-scale enterprise IT projects and a deep expertise in telecommunications technology, software engineering, and system integration. Her current projects solve technical and operational challenges of enabling global IT service management solutions with the enterprise-grade web software. Prior to Verizon, Zoya was a Principal Investigator at GTE Laboratories where her team built early electronic commerce tools, including the first xml-based solution for online billing. As an Adjunct Professor at Harvard University Extension School, Dr. Zoya Kinstler teaches "Enterprise IT Systems" - a capstone course for the Information Management Systems Master's program. Zoya is a member of the Society of Information Management (SIM), where she serves as liaison to the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium. A native of Latvia, Kinstler received a master's degree in economics from the University of Latvia, and a Ph.D. in mathematical economics from Moscow State University.
