Michael Hickins has been a senior editor at The Wall Street Journal since November 2009, and is the editor of CIO Journal. During his time at The Wall Street Journal, he has led a premium Web aggregation edition, WSJ Professional, managed the Digits technology blog, and has been interim editor of CFO Journal. Previously, he was executive editor at Ziff Davis Enterprise, with editorial responsibility for eWEEK, Baseline and CIO Journal. He has also led coverage on InformationWeek's Digital Life and BNET's Technology blogs. Hickins has covered various aspects of business technology since 1984, with notable stops at InternetNews.com, Reuters, and Fairchild Publications. He holds a B.A. in literature from Columbia College and an M.F.A. in writing from Columbia University.
